- 1876 Nevada Dollar. Silver. 38 mm. HK-19, Julian CM-36. Rarity-5. Proof-63 (PCGS). This is a beautifully toned specimen dressed in a blend of deep blue-gray and lighter champagne-pink iridescence. The Liberty Bell side is the more boldly patinated of the two sides. Sharply defined with ample reflectivity in the fields shining forth as the surfaces rotate under a light. Produced in conjunction with the 1876 U.S. Centennial Exposition, this type was struck from dies engraved by William Barber using silver ore mined in Nevada.
