FROM THE TRZASKA COLLECTION This is a really beautifully toned GEM Proof 1895 nickel. Amazing, apricot-peach gold tone across the highly reflective, watery mirrored fields. The surfaces are without flaw and the eye appeal is very high end. PCGS 28, NGC 32, CAC 14. Just two coins have graded PR66+ and just two are graded higher. The last one to sell in auction brought $1,058 in April 2017 and the current Collectors Universe value is listed at $1,250. Keep in mind a PR67 is worth between $4,000 and $5,000 and the PR68 sold for $73,438 in our May 2019 Regency Auction.
