- Alluring Alexander I Novodel Pedigreed to 1992 RUSSIA. Silver Ruble Pattern Novodel, 1810. St. Petersburg Mint. Alexander I. PCGS SPECIMEN-61. KM-Unlisted; Bit-H684. Plain edge. Intensely flashy and brilliant, this "longer neck" novodel striking presents the bust of the czar on the obverse and a very simple reverse, with just the year and its qualifier ГОДА, often left off of coinage (it signifies "of the year," hence this indicates that it is of the 1,810th year with respect to Anno Domini calendrical system). Rather deeply toned, though some lightly scattered hairlines and subtle marks are noted for completeness. Estimate: $20,000 - $40,000. Provenance: From the Sigma Collection.
