This is the ONLY 1885 Seated Liberty dime to achieve a Prooflike designation in ANY grade at either PCGS or NGC. Clearly an early strike from freshly prepared and polished dies, this CHOICE coin has vibrant, flashy watery mirrored fields. Both sides have a rich peripheral blue, gold, orange, and pearly patina, yielding to brilliant untoned silver centers, likely stored in a classic old time album. The devices are sharp and frosty. The eye appeal is great! PCGS 1, NGC 0. UNIQUE in the PL designation, this coin sold for $1,020 in January 2020, which seems quite reasonable given its status. Bid accordingly. Cert.
