In the art world, there are Rembrandts, Picassos's, and Cezannes. In the coin world one can say THIS coin ranks among the greatest original toned displays Mother Nature has ever done. The quality of the coin is remarkable too. Remarkably clean and satiny smooth surfaces are all over. There is a touch of light irregular toning in the right field-not any scuffs. The reverse there seems to be an adjustment mark on the shield. There is one microscopic tick on the head (you need a glass to see it). A soft but fully glowing luster beams from all over. All of the toning is 100% natural. It probably took Mother Nature years to create the iridescent color swirls on the obverse. Gorgeous rings of blue/green/violet/gold open into puffy original white surfaces. The reverse is puffy original white with a hint of gold. Miss Liberty and every detail is frosty and is fully struck. The eye appeal is so strong, your eye balls will pop out and roll around! PCGS 4, NGC 8, CAC 2. No PCGS CAC piece has ever been sold via auction for this date and grade. There is a Collectors Universe of $17,500. We can't imagine this coin not by passing that number the day bidding opens. This is a dealer's long held personal coin.
