1850-C Liberty Half Eagle. Winter Variety 1 (14-F). VF-30 (PCGS). Even khaki-gold patina with bolder definition remaining in many areas of the design. Wear is moderate, yet evenly distributed, and mentionable softness of strike is confined to the top of the obverse portrait and the lower portion of the eagle on the reverse. A few noticeable abrasions in the obverse field are not all that significant for a C-mint Five that saw this extensive circulation.
