A fairly RARE issue in proof for this brief king-emperor, the present specimen dazzles with highly mirrored fields and slightly frosty devices. Friedrich III was dually King of Prussia and Emperor of Germany for just three months in 1888, the middle of three emperors (Wilhelms I and II) in the "year of three emperors."
