详细说明: THE BOYLSTON COLLECTION TIED FOR FINEST KNOWN! Wholesome, fresh and original with a glorious array of obverse baby blue, celery green, gold and hues intermingled over deep mint bloom and luster. The reverse is somewhat reflective, and mostly brilliant with a gorgeous halo of peach tone to offset the devices. Keenly defined motifs are graced by a wash of mint frost. A few light marks are seen under magnification near star 3 and on the reverse above the eagle’s head. Especially RARE in GEM status, in spite of the relatively high mintage of 580,000 coins struck. WB-5, Rarity-4. No unusual die defects on the obverse are noted, but the reverse is easily identified by the raised patch of metal below the LF of HALF as well as the prominent die lines in the shield. PCGS 5, NGC 1, CAC 4. PCGS Price Guide values this date at $15,000. This exact piece sold in August 2010 for $16,100. It has been a DECADE since this piece has appeared at auction and it certainly rivals any of the other Gem graded pieces that have sold in more recent times.
