Wonderfully fresh and original, this near-GEM is a great example for a type set! Thick, frosty satin luster blooms all over in the fields and on the devices. Sharply impressed devices are surrounded by generally clean mark-free fields. A pale dusting of faint tan-gold color attests to this coin's classic, original, old-time collection look. PCGS 113, NGC 92, CAC 12. The last NGC/CAC MS64 realized $3,840 in September 2019--a level that is well above the current CAC CPG and PCGS Price Guide levels. Prior to that, we sold a PCGS MS64 CAC for $4,348 in May 2017. The other two NGC/CAC examples that sold brought $2,233 and $3,594.
