GREAT BRITAIN. Guinea, 1687. London Mint. James II. PCGS AU-53 Gold Shield. S-3402; Fr-295; KM-459.1. Second bust. Obverse: Laureate bust left; Reverse: Crowned cruciform coats-of-arms, with scepter in each angle. A hint of striking weakness is noted, along with some minor, even wear, but an otherwise pleasing representation of this SCARCER type, especially so handsome.
