KM-138.2; Basso-43; PNM#6-181; PNM#16-381; Cacho-Type IX; Lopez-Chavez Yriarte-Type IV group A; Gil-Crown variety 5-4-3-III (1836). Type VI countermark crowned Y.II. within circle on Peru 8 Reales 1835-LM-MT. The countermark is well struck and nearly centered on the obverse with an AU grade given by PCGS that is independent of the host quality. The host, also graded at the AU level, displays good remaining luster with some mottled overlying gray tone. Seldom seen and highly demanded when the host and countermark appear this nice.
