This is a gorgeous, SUPERB GEM! Not only is this coin VERY HIGH END, it is also a borderline PL piece! An intense, mint brilliance flashes boldly on this semi-Prooflike superbly lustrous fiery fields. The bright yellow gold color is accented by a very strong and lively luster on both sides. Both sides are a wonderful original bright yellow gold color with a faint hint of orange, which adds to the exceptional visual allure. Devoid of spots or discolorations or surface marks of any kind, this is a beautiful example from this lower mintage (7,620) year. PCGS 94, NGC 64. It has been nearly two years since an NGC-graded MS67 sold in auction. The current Collectors Universe value is $4,500. Scarce to rare any finer, no doubt that the Population data is inflated with crossovers, crack outs, etc. This is a fresh coin in an older NGC holder and worthy of a very strong bid. Cert.
