- 1921-D Mercury Dime. MS-64 FB (PCGS). CAC. This fully struck dime has subtle golden highlights on otherwise brilliant satin surfaces. A key date in all grades due to the record low mintage of 1,080,000 pieces, the 1921-D is particularly elusive and desirable in Mint State, as here. Among Mercury dimes there is a great deal of basic numismatic value among MS-64 coins that are attractive and quite sharp overall, even if not FB. A full set of such would make a magnificent display.
