- Mintage: 57,500. 15 graded AU-53, 21 higher at PCGS. The 1850-O circulated widely and very few mint-state examples now exist, placing considerable emphasis on AU examples, which are very rare themselves. As always seen on even the very best examples, the strike is not fully realized on either side, and most of the stars lack any internal detail. A few moderate, and numerous tiny abrasions spatter each side but there are no major contact marks.
