Obverse: Conjoined coats-of-arms of China and Peru; branch above and below; Reverse: Inscription in nine lines. Original and wholly pleasing, with an olive-iridescent tone throughout. Struck to commemorate the 100th anniversary of Peruvian Independence from Colonial Spain, this charming medal was produced for and issued by Chinese immigrants in Peru. Estimate: $800 - $1,200.
