Tied for HIGHEST GRADED at either service, this is a simply SUPERB example of the final Walker issue. Clearly this one was lovingly cared for in an old collector album or envelope for ages. Combined with time and patience, Mother Nature swiped her magic paint brush on the surfaces. Deep peripheral red color flows into the centers with a dappled, pattern. The satiny brilliance radiates up from below the color, imparting a great look. The strike is crisp, and this magnificent GEM is very clean and the eye appeal is sensational. PCGS 136, NGC 92, CAC 41. There are 15 in MS67+ at NGC, and NONE FINER. The current Collectors Universe value is $25,000 but the last NGC/CAC example realized $4,560 in April 2022.
