In the opinion of LRCA and Legend Numismatics this date and grade are GROSSLY UNDER valued. It is a no question a VERY HIGH END coin!
There are just a few light scattered tiny ticks on the surfaces. Nothing is big at all. You can clearly see traces of prooflike mirrors. There is a faint layer of toning spread all over. The color is a rich gold with pale copper highlights around the lettering especially. The luster clearly comes through. Miss Liberty and the details are well struck and show only light wear. The eye appeal is super!
PCGS 8, NGC 8, CAC 2 (with NONE Higher). There are NO auction records for any PCGS coin selling. The Collectors Universe value is only $17,500-which is too low. The other PCGS CAC coin we placed in a collection years ago. Remember, there are NONE higher by CAC. We think this coin should be worth $25,000. S Mints with higher pops are worth more. This coin might be suffering from being too rare with too few appearances. If you collect $10 Libs, this coin offers an incredible opportunity. It will be a great addition to any $10 Lib set! We expect strong bidding here-good luck!
