- 1740-V Half Sou Marque. Troyes Mint. Vlack-315. Rarity-6. AU-53 (PCGS). Dominant pewter-gray patina to full silvering, deeper charcoal-russet lines the lower right obverse and upper right reverse. Well defined with all features bold to sharp, the surfaces are microscopically rough, yet to no great detriment. Provenance: From the Sydney F. Martin Collection. Earlier ex Bill Paul, October 2002.
