A truly delightful little jewel that at first glance has the look of a higher grade. Deep "black" mirrors beam against the nicely frosted and fully struck devices. Ample orange peal texture remains in the fields. Under intense scrutiny with a powerful glass you can see a few teeny ticks and lines but none are inappropriate for the assigned grade, and none mar the great eye appeal. Only 125 were struck. PCGS 1, NGC 0, CAC 1. This coin has not appeared in auction before. A non-CAM PR63 sold back in May 2004 for $4,485 (that is forever ago!) and a PR64 CAM sold in November 2012 for $6,440. The current PCGS value is listed at $5,100 and we can see that level being surpassed by this beauty! A great coin for a Proof Gold Type set. Good luck! Cert. Number 34279335 PCGS # 87632
