- RUSSIA. Ruble, 1741-MMA. Moscow (Red) Mint. "Ivan III" (Ivan VI). PCGS Genuine--Plugged, EF Details. KM-207.1; Bit-2. Variety with dots around mintmark. No matter the plugged nature, this RAREcrown stands as a rather tough and always desired issue. Though somewhat confusingly styled as "IOAHHЪ III" (Ivan), this issue is of Ivan VI. This quirk is based upon the rendering at the time of this Ivan being the third chronologically to rule as a Tsar--the first three technically having only been Grand Princes.
