- GREAT BRITAIN. Middlesex. Pidcock's 1/2 Penny Token, ND (1790s). PCGS MS-64 Red Brown. D&H-445. Obverse: A nilgai standing right; Reverse: An ostrich walking left. The nilgai is an antelope native to India and doesn't particularly look like the horse with horns shown here. Lustrous red-brown with reflective fields and two tiny planchet flaws on the ostrich side. We expect bids from all directions for this token with a marvelous motif. Estimate: $300 - $500.
