- 1739 Admiral Vernon Porto Bello Medal. Multiple Portraits. Adams-Chao PBvb 7-L, M-G 146. Rarity-5. Bath Metal. EF-40 (PCGS). 38.4 mm. A charming, wonderfully original piece with blended sandy-tan highlights to dominant medium brown patina. The surfaces are overall smooth in hand -- and uncommonly so for the assigned grade -- with plenty of good gloss. A shallow, circular planchet void just left of center in the reverse field is as made, light to moderate high point rub commensurate with the assigned grade.
