Obverse: GEORGE VI CROWNED 12 MAY 1937, crowned and mantled bust of George left, wearing Chain of the Garter; Reverse: QVEEN ELIZABETH 12 MAY 1937, crowned and draped bust of Elizabeth left. The EXTREMELY RARElarge version of the coronation medal, this stunning near Gem--the finest in the PCGS census--is exceeded at NGC by a sole specimen. Radiant and lustrous, and with intense vibrancy and charm, this type is seldom encountered in the marketplace--especially so alluring.
