- 1911 Barber Dime. MS-67+ (PCGS). A wonderfully original Superb Gem with sweeping crescents of cobalt blue, olive-gold and reddish-apricot iridescence, both sides also with blushes of softer pearl-gray that are more extensive on the obverse. Silky smooth in appearance with a crisp strike and billowy satin luster. The 1911 may be among the most plentiful Barber dimes in an absolute sense, but precious few survivors are as technically sound and aesthetically pleasing as this vivid Superb Gem.
