THE BIG CYPRESS COLLECTION Like the 1854 and 1878, the 1874 is one of the common dates in the series, making it one of the popular dates for type set purposes, particularly in PCGS AU58 CAC. A gleaming, satiny luster blooms with a brilliant golden sheen in the fields and around the sharply defined details. A minor tick or two is all that can be found with close, careful inspection with a glass. The eye appeal is pleasing. PCGS 572, NGC 1031, CAC 69. Do not let the Pops fool you, there has not been a PCGS/CAC example sold in quite some time, the last one selling three years ago.
