- 1870 Pattern Half Dollar. Judd-941, Pollock-1068. Rarity-7-. Copper. Reeded Edge. Proof-64 BN (PCGS). Obverse with the Standard Silver bust of Liberty facing right with cap and two stars, LIBERTY incuse on ribbon. Legend and Motto surrounds. Reverse with an open agricultural wreath within housing 50 / CENTS / 1870 and above STANDARD. Rich milk chocolate brown throughout with a few tiny specks and tinges of blue in the recesses of the design. Boldly struck throughout and a few hairlines from a higher grade. PCGS# 61187. Provenance: Ex: Denali Collection. PCGS Population: 1; 1 finer (PR-65 Brown finest) within the Brown designation.
