- Maybe, Maybe Not Collection. Nearly 5-milllion Carson City quarters were struck for the bicentennial, making it by far the choice for a type/mintmark collection. Despite substantial smoke-grey and denim-blue color splashed throughout, both sides face up with obviously prooflike character, although NGC designated nothing. Some reed marks right of Liberty's arm provide the obvious impetus for the grade level.
