A totally WHOLESOME and ORIGINAL VF B-1, BB-21 dollar. A PERENNIAL FAVORITE in a great collector oriented grade. Moderate, problem free, honest wear on both sides, though a generous amount of design detail remains. Richly toned in the fields and lighter on the devices give this wonderful early dollar a highly coveted "circ-cam" look. A few old time marks are noted, but all are commensurate with the grade. The eye appeal is excellent and among the nicest VF examples of this type we have handled. PCGS 78, NGC 463 (all varieties in all VF grades from VF20 to VF35), CAC 12. NO VF20 approved by CAC has ever sold in auction. A PCGS VF20 without CAC sold for $7,500 in May 2022. The current Collectors Universe value is listed at $8,500 and the CAC CPG value is listed at $9,000. This coin will certainly delight any type or early dollar date collector looking for a high end VF example. We expect the price guide levels to be exceeded when the hammer falls. Cert.
