The obverse depicts the years lunar animal, the Dog, but more specifically a Tibetan Mastiff in a nature scene. The reverse displays the Phoenix Temple of the Shenyang Imperial Palace. A brilliant and attractive proof with hard mirrored fields and frosted cameo devices. A magnificent example of this seldom encountered modern rarity free of tone, haze or fog.
