There is a reason so few have been graded of this date: they do not come so nice. Fortunately, this coin did. Excellent surfaces offer a few light and scattered frost breaks/ticks. To the naked eye the surfaces appear smooth. A good luster does beam from all over. Both sides are a deeper totally original gold color. There are no spots or stains. Miss Liberty and the details are frosty and are sharply struck. The eye appeal is wonderful! PCGS 20, NGC 12, CAC 5. PCGS has graded only 11 higher (w/just 3 beaned). The last PCGS CAC piece to sell in auction brought $1,997 in December 2013. That is FIVE forever years ago! The current Collectors Universe Value is $2,400.
