- MEXICO. 1/4 Real, 1843-CARG. NGC MS-62. KM-368. Attractive mint state example with full luster illuminating the toned surfaces giving a light apricot color to the obverse and a deeper gunmetal to the reverse. RAREin this grade with only a handful of mint state examples thus far certified. Struck for only one year at the Chihuahua mint. The issues from this mint are far more scarce than those from other mints which struck this denomination for many years. Tied with three other pieces in this grade with only one graded a point finer.
