详细说明: 1846 Liberty Seated Half Dollar. WB-104. 6/Horizontal 6. AU-58 (NGC). One of the most popular of the blundered dates as this is not only one of the most dramatic, but the only example of a "sideways" blunder in the date repunchings. Rare in all grades, at this level this is indeed a prize for the collector. Satiny silver-gray with umber-gray fields and colorful peripheral accents on both sides. The strike is sharp and the blundered date feature clear. Usual light die cracks in the  reverse legends, and two small edge cuds below the date, which combined to cause early retirement of this storied obverse die. Given the growing popularity of this series and the fact that this variety has been long listed in the <em>Guide Book </em>it would be likely that collector demand will always vastly exceed supply. NGC has graded a mere 34 of these <em>in all grades</em>. A high quality prize that should not be overlooked.
