This is a trophy example for the type, one of the FINEST graded for the date and this is one of the prettiest 1909 Proof quarters that exists, hands down! The mirrors are incredibly reflective and are deep, crystal clean, super clean, and beam brilliantly from all over. Incredibly well preserved, the technical qualities are off the chart, and as close to PERFECTION as you can ever get. A jaw dropping totally ORIGINAL color scheme of navy/pearl green/lime/magenta/gold streaks across the obverse. The reverse has an even mix of purple/gold/navy colors. These color are NOT drab or dull. Miss Liberty and the details are frosty and have needle sharp strikes. The eye appeal is spectacular! Only 650 Proofs were struck. PCGS 9, NGC 11, CAC 6.
