"1789" Mott Token. Breen-1025. Thin Planchet. Engrailed Edge. AU-55 (PCGS). 108.5 grains. Deep golden-tan with scattered chocolate highlights. The surfaces are hard and glossy to the unaided eye, and low magnification does little to dispel that notion. Evenly centered and sharp on the obverse, the legend only beginning to stretch to the rim in places, reverse eagle sharper than typically seen, off-center to the bottom with the legend there all but completely off the planchet. Choice for the grade.<br /> <br /> Craige's envelope reads "Partly Engrailed Edge."
