- PORTUGAL. 4 Escudos (Peca), 1834. PCGS MS-62 Secure Holder. Fr-141; KM-405; Gomes-19.01. Two year type. A carefully handled example which was struck with slightly worn dies leaving some faint traces of die rust and the uppermost points of relief on the obverse not fully struck up. Full cartwheeling luster beneath lightly toned surfaces that have taken a subtle satin appearance. Very attractive. Estimate: $1,800 - $2,200. Provenance: Ex: Stack's Sale March 4-5, 1988, Lot #1436.
