Circa 1883 Evacuation of New York medal by George T. Morgan. Washington, Knox and Clinton Obverse. Musante GW-1012, Baker-458, HK-Unlisted, socalleddollar.com-93. Bronze. MS-66 (PCGS). 35 mm. Deep chocolate brown with nice mirrors in the fields and sharp devices. Struck through a small piece of debris by the C in CITY, which is still partly present. Beautifully preserved, very attractive and scarce. Provenance: Ex William Spohn Baker Collection, to the Historical Society of Pennsylvania by bequest, November 15, 1897.
