1720-A French Colonies 1/3 Ecu, or Petit Louis d'Argent. Paris Mint. John Law Issue. Gad.305, Hod.2. AU-53 (PCGS). Secure Holder. Soft silver-gray surfaces exhibit bold design elements and lively luster. The obverse exhibits some tiny slate-gray toning streaks that are chiefly visible at an angle to a bright light source, while the reverse exhibits some planchet adjustment marks below the A mintmark. One of John Law's issues from when he owned the coinage patents of the French mints. All told, a visually fetching specimen that will see bold bidding activity.
