详细说明: Early Franklin half dollar Proofs are a serious challenge to find with any contrast. The mint's production methods were little changed from the previous decade when Proofs were struck until there was little to no mirror finish to the fields at all. Only the earliest strikes had any frost in the devices. On the presently offered SUPERB GEM you do not need to use your imagination to see the contrast. The mirrors are deep, bold, beaming, and have vast clarity to them. The frost is rich and the devices stand out against the sleek, icy mirrors. There is a tiny fleck in the obverse field which is noted just for accuracy; it has little impact on the overall eye appeal. PCGS 22, NGC 26, CAC 19.
