- MEXICO. Cob 4 Reales, 1730-Mo. Mexico City Mint, Assayer G. Philip V. PCGS EF-40. KM-40A; Cal-1091. Weight: 13.35 gms. Despite its highly compact planchet, this 4 Reales piece retains plenty of attractive detail. The obverse shows a clear mintmark, assayer's initial, and a bold full date. The reverse cross with castles and lions is nearly complete and pleasingly detailed. The surfaces are deeply toned with lovely hints of iridescence.
