- 1739-K Sou Marque. Bordeaux Mint. Vlack-122. Rarity-5. AU-50 (PCGS). 29.5 grains. Ample silvering remains to surfaces that exhibit mottled steely-copper patina to a base of pewter-gray. Strike a bit tight to 9 o'clock on the obverse, 11 o'clock on the reverse, affecting only the border denticulation in those areas. All design elements are bold, surfaces minimally rough, K mintmark entered high in the lower obverse field and out of line with the adjacent letters in the legend. Provenance: From the Sydney F.
