- Circa 1875 Washington and Grant medal by George H. Lovett. Musante GW-856, Baker-251. Copper. MS-65 RB (PCGS 27.7 mm. Beautiful violet, blue and orange iridescence around the light olive Washington portrait. The reverse retains nearly full orange red with soft violet and rose overtones. A couple of tiny spots are noted on both sides while a small void behind Grant’s head is a strike-through, and is as made. Known in copper and white metal only and rare in both.
