Some sharp eyed collector must have found this lightly worn example of this popular overdate and put it away in an old album or envelope and forgot about it until it was time to certify it. That long term storage allowed Mother Nature to work her magic and impart a wonderful multihued melange of toning. Well struck devices show light wear. The reverse has some ancient scratches, which are well hidden below the toning and are only mentioned for accuracy, they have no impact on the visual quality. PCGS 53, NGC 44.
