- A frosty white GEM that is on the cusp of a SUPERB designation. Brilliantly lustrous and well struck. Like the 1922, 1923 and 1925, the 1924 Peace Dollar had a very generous mintage, and is a common date coin through MS65; in MS66 the coin is available but scarce and above MS66, the date becomes rare. The MS66+ grade is optimal for most collectors to get a superior grade coin. PCGS 1,067, NGC 1,646, CAC 366. PCGS has graded 128 in MS66+. It has been two years since we sold one, a coin that realized $1,586 in May 2021; more recently one sold in February 2023 for $1,860 and the current PCGS Price Guide value is listed at $2,250.
