- 1951 Jefferson Nickel. Proof-67 Deep Cameo (PCGS). Minimally toned in pale golden iridescence, most viewing angles present a brilliant coin. The fields are deeply mirrored in finish and support satiny, fully rendered design elements. Whereas the opposite is true of more modern issues, for early date Proof Jefferson nickels Deep Cameo specimens are very much the exception rather than the rule. This is one of the finest examples of the Proof 1951 issue that we have ever offered. Provenance: From the George "Buddy" Byers Buckeye Collection.
