- Everything is stunning! One of the FINEST and most beautiful SUPERB GEM Proof 1911 nickels we have ever seen! We LOVE the look; Mother Nature really worked her color magic on this one! The intensely mirrored fields are smooth, free of any lines or marks. Both sides are a blessing from Mother Nature with pastel rose, teal, and icy blue toning that evenly dusts the essentially FLAWLESS surfaces. Wow simply does not convey what a moose this coin really is! PCGS 15, NGC 15, CAC 7. There are 2 in PR67+ and just a single, solitary PR68 finer at PCGS. None of these have sold in auction, but an NGC PR68, which last sold nearly a decade ago, brought nearly $5,000. This PR67+ should bring well in excess of the current Price Guide value of $2,400--that level just seems too cheap to us! Bound for one of the FINEST Proof Liberty nickel sets. Cert.
