- 1899-S Liberty Head Eagle. MS-62+ (PCGS). CAC. A highly lustrous, frosty example that is adorned with vivid medium gold color. The most plentiful San Francisco Mint eagle from the mid to late 1890s, the 1899-S is still scarce when compared to such truly common Liberty Head issues as the 1901 and 1901-S.
