- 1964-D Washington Quarter. MS-67+ (PCGS). CAC. Silky smooth surfaces feature billowy satin to softly frosted luster and lovely toning. The peripheries on both sides are splashed with swirls of vivid reddish-apricot, salmon pink and champagne-gold. At 704,135,528 coins struck, the 1964-D has the highest mintage in the Washington quarter series up to that point in time.
