This is a MONSTER Buffalo nickel! It is tied for FINEST graded. This moose is awe-inspiring! Sharply struck devices stand out with ultra lustrous surfaces and rings of vibrant gold, blue, lilac, and rose iridescent hues. The luster is intense, accenting the sharply struck devices and bringing out the subtle differences of the toning. Though more than 58 million nickels were struck in 1935 precious few were saved in such a lofty state of preservation. Examples with full definition and bold luster are very rare indeed, usually you get one trait or the other. A coin like this, with the combination of both intense luster and fully rendered devices is exceptional! You cannot beat this coin's eye appeal! PCGS 4, NGC 2. This coin last sold over a decade ago, realizing $34,500, and prior to that, it brought $57,500 back in the 2007 FUN auction. Being a once in a decade opportunity, we are certain that the current Collectors Universe value of $25,000 will have to be increased after this MONSTER SUPERB GEM crosses the block! Cert.
