- DOMINICA. 4 Bits, ND (1813). PCGS POOR-01 Gold Shield. KM-5; Prid-28. 5.04 grams. Countermark grade: VF Detail. A ring cut from an 8 Reales with a crowned "4" countermark at right. Crenellations from the center cut 1-1/2 Bit "Moco" are visible on the reverse. No trace of the host coin remains, with a bold counterstamp and a few insignificant blunt marks near 12 o'clock in the fields. Estimate: $1,000 - $1,500. Provenance: Ex: Stack's Bowers Americana sale (Philadelphia, September 2011), lot 859 (tag included). Ex: R. Climpson Collection (Noble 1985).
