- GREAT BRITAIN. 1/2 Groat, ND (1526-32)-WA. Canterbury Mint; mm: uncertain. Henry VIII. PCGS AU-50. S-2343; N-1802. Second coinage, under Archbishop William Warham. Obverse: Crowned and mantled bust right; Reverse: Coat-of-arms; W-Λ across field; all over long cross fourchee. With a glossy appearance, this Henry VIII issue has an overall attractive look to its deep patination. Very good details remaining on a well struck and centered example, and very little evidence of actual handling. Some small, minor cracks on the flan are noted merely for completeness.
